Rostyslav Zaulychnyi

Rostislav Saulitschni ( Ukr: Ростислав Зауличний; born September 6, 1968) is a former Ukrainian boxer. Saulitschni was silver medalist at the 1992 Olympics and bronze medalist at the European Championships in 1991 and 1993 and the World Championships in 1993. Besides, he was a participant of the Olympic Games 1996.

Career

Saulitschni was a Soviet champion in 1990 at middleweight ( - 75kg) and 1991 in the light heavyweight ( 81kg - ).

In 1990, Saulitschni middleweight at the Goodwill Games in Seattle in part, however, different in the first fight against Chris Johnson, Canada ( 4:1), from. At the European Championships in the following year he won the bronze medal in the light heavyweight division, where he semi-final against Dariusz Michalczewski, Poland ( 26:19 ), lost.
