Röthelbach (Saalach)

The Röthelbach (also Rötelbach ) is a right tributary of the Saalachstrasse in the district of Berchtesgaden.

The creek rises in the bar Mountains and flows in the range of Baumgarten in the Saalachstrasse. Until the source leads almost always a forest road along the creek.

Mudslide

As a result of severe storms and heavy rains destroyed a Mure the next forest road running partially full, as well as the federal highway 21 at Baumgarten in part. The national road then had to complete 5 to 20 July 2010 the forest road be indefinitely locked.
