Rottenbach (river)

The Rotte river is a tributary of the River ( Königseer ) channel in the Pauli Zellaer foreland in Thuringia. It flows through on its ten -kilometer run, the conservation area Rinne Rottenbachtal.

The Rotte river springs from several source streams in the forest Paulinzella at Gössel Born. Then it flows in a southeasterly direction further by Paulinzella and Milbitz after rotting creek where it flows from the left in the gutter.

The Rottenbachtal is an important route run in which both the railway line Arnstadt -Saalfeld and the country road Stadtilm - Rottenbach.
