Rõuge Suurjärv

The Rõuge Suurjärv is a lake in the southern part of Estonia. It is the deepest lake in the country.

The Rõuge Suurjärv is located in the municipality in the district of Rõuge Võru in the west of the ridge Haanja. Its area is 0.13 km ². The deepest part of the Rõuge Suurjärv is 38 m. Its average depth is 11.9 m.

Numerous springs feed the lake. Important fish species are perch, roach, pike and bream.
