Rough Night in Jericho (film)

When Jim Dolan came ( original title: Rough Night in Jericho ) is an American Western by Arnold Laven for the production company Universal in 1967 with Dean Martin and George Peppard in the lead roles. The film is based on a novel by Marvin H. Albert.

Action

A stagecoach is attacked from ambush. The driver Ben Hickman is wounded in the action brought by the player and Jim Dolan, the only passenger on the coach into the town.

Hickman is a former Santa Fe law enforcement, and Dolan was once his deputy. They are now partners for the transport company of Molly Lang, to this end, the two have come to Jericho. Molly was once the mistress of unscrupulous power mongers Alex Flood, which dominates the city, makes the rules and the residents exploits.

Flood forms a lynch mob, bullied the men of Jericho who are trying to organize a secret meeting. While the wounded Hickman recovered from his gunshot wound, Dolan finds more and more pleased with Molly and decides to help her, if Floods men should dare again to start the attempt to take over their stagecoach line. When exactly that happens, he gets into a violent fight with Yarbrough, one of Floods men.

Jim Dolan begins to create chaos in Floods Empire, they drive their cattle away and cause explosions on Floods Ranch and in his gold mine. He is supported by Hickman and Jace, the former sheriff of Jericho. Flood then returns to Jericho, to revenge. He shoots Hickman down from behind. Then Dolan Flood followed in the mountains where it comes to the last duel between the two rivals.
