ROUMA is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Risti ( Risti vald ) in Lääne.

Population and location

The village has 54 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It lies immediately south of the village Risti.

Nature Tourism

West of the center flows the brook Marimetsa oja. From the village, a nine- kilometer-long trail runs west over the mountain Kuresilma in the moors Marimetsa ( Marimetsa raba ). It is excellent as a nature reserve since 1981. On the edge of the path is a viewing tower. From there, a boardwalk begins by the moors. The plants and birdlife is rich in species. In the pristine nature nests including the golden eagle.
