Round Hill is a town in Loudoun County in the north of the U.S. state of Virginia. In 2000 lived in Round Hill 500 people; until the official 2009 estimate, the population increased to 759

History

It is known that the first settlers settled around 1730 in the town at that time Woodgrove mentioned. 1875 extended the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad to Round Hill, Round Hill, and thus became a popular tourist destination. The Round Hill Methodist Church was established in 1889, a few years later, in 1905, the Baptist Church was opened.

1900, the city was incorporated. A year later, the streets were named in Round Hill and levied taxes first, they were at that time 50 cents per head. Opened in 1907, the Citizens Bank, but was forced to close three years later. Another bank opened 1923. 1919 electric street lighting has been introduced.

In 2000, Round Hill celebrated its 100th anniversary as a city.
