Roundoff

The Rondat, also known as Radwende, is an element in the floor exercise.

The Rondat has many similarities to the cartwheel is executed but is skipped. After a short start-up, the hands are placed laterally on the floor and the body in the swung state of the side hand. Laterally here means a 3/8-Drehung to start. In handstand legs are closed, the lower body performs another 1/8-Drehung from. Then the legs are together, " whip-like " guided downward and the upper body and pulled the trigger raised until the level is achieved simultaneously. Overall, Turner has thus performed a half-turn.

Most of the Rondat presentation is performed as a prelude to a back handspring.
