The N13 is a French national road, which was established in 1824 between Paris and Cherbourg. It goes back to the route impériale 14. Her length was 344.5 km. In 1836 it was relocated to the west of Lisieux on a short section on a new, 2 km long, leadership. 1844 was extended to Fort de Querqueville by 8 kilometers. Side branches in and around Cherbourg

The N13 got 1852 in Cherbourg three side branches that connected the military harbor. They originated during the modernization of defense equipment in Cherbourg. The letter "a" were used to "C":

1858 two more side branches were established. This went to Fort Flamand and the Mare de Tourlaville. Numbered this was only in 1933 as N801A and N801B. All were graded in 1971.

N13d

The N13D was a side branch of the N13, which was established in 1947 as a connection of Utah Beach. The length was 13 kilometers. In 1973, the road was graded. From 1974 to 1978, the northern and eastern part of the Boulevard Périphérique of Caen was genummert as N13D. This ran between junction 13 and junction 8 (via junction 1). The northern part between pin 1 and pin 8 was the N413 and the part between connection 13 and connection 1 for N513.

N413

The N413 was from 1978 to 1999 a side branch of the N13, which ran as part of the Boulevard Périphérique of Caen between junctions 1 and 9. He was to N814 1999, which includes the complete ring road to Caen.

N513

The N513 was from 1978 to 1999 a side branch of the N13, which, passed as part of the Boulevard Périphérique of Caen, between junctions 11 and 1, and of these further north up to D513 ( ex N813 ). The part of the ring road was 1999 N814, which includes the complete ring road from Caen and the remaining part was to D403.

N1013

The N1013 is the number of two side branches of the N13. One runs at La Défense in Paris, the other is the southern bypass of Évreux.

N2013

The N2013 was until 2006 the number of old alignments of the N13 between Caen and Cherbourg -Octeville, which was always used when a bypass was put into operation on the N13 was moved.
