The Route nationale 202, just N 202 or 202 RN, is a French national road, which was established in 1860 between Thonon -les- Bains and Albertville, when the Savoy was part of France. Thus it goes back to no route impériale. Her length was 124.5 km. In 1912, she was part of the first version of the "Route des Alpes ". 1920, the second version was the "Route des Alpes " set. The N202 was the main part of this. In this connection she took on the N212 and N210 completely; and parts of the N205, N207 and N208. Thus the total length of the five sections was 441 km. 1931 was a Umtrassierung from Sallanches to Bourg -Saint -Maurice to the N90. Here, the section between Sallanches and Albertville became the N212 and the interruption by the N90 was shorter. This route was not continuous but so far developed as a street. The trail connects the road ends is about 16 kilometers long. In 1934, she was led from Briançon over the Col d' Izoard and she reached in Guillestre their old route. Thus, the interruption was omitted by the N94. The piece between the N94 and Guillestre was to N202A. Thus, the length of the N202 was from 1934 a total of 478.5 km. 1973, a new N202 between Barremian and Nice was formed:

  • N 207 Barremian - Pont -de- Gueydan
  • N 202 Pont -de- Gueydan - Nice

2006, the section between the Pont -de- Gueydan and Nice was graded and it is only the coming of the N207 section, without the connection terminates at the Pont -de- Gueydan to another national road.

N 202a

The Route nationale 202A, short N 202A 202A or RN, was from 1933 to 1973 a side branch of the N202, which branched off from this Guillestre and led to Mont- Dauphin Gare. This is described here: Route nationale 202. 1974 was a new N202A. This resulted from the N202 Nice Airport on the southern part of Boulevard de Mercantour. It was in 1978 part of the N202.

N 202bis

The Route nationale 202bis, 202bis short N or RN 202bis, was the number provided for a highway on the west bank of the Var parallel to the N202 between Carros and Saint- Laurent -du -Var. While she was under construction was the grading reform of 2006, which was characterized then immediately taken as D6202bis in operation.

N202et

The N202Et ( Embranchement ) was briefly a side branch of the N202 in Saint- Gervais- les- Bains, which part of the N202 was when it was placed on a new leadership.

N 1202

The Route nationale 1202 short N 1202 or SN 1202 was a parallel route of the N202 in the valley of the Var, between Pont de la Mescla ( mouth of the Tinée in the Var) and Plan du Var. It was set up as a two-lane one-way street leading south and went into operation in 1991. At the same time the N202 of the breakpoint La Tinée to the Pont de la Mescla was north to north leading way street. The road passes through the 1006 meter long tunnel de Mescla. 2006, the road was reclassified to the D6102.
