Rouvrel
Rouvrel ( Picard: rouvre ) is a northern French village with 277 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Noye, in the canton Ailly- sur- Noye.
Geography
The municipality is located north of the department of Road D920 (formerly Route nationale 320) of Ailly- sur- Noye after Moreuil at the department D134 road 4 km east-northeast of the immediately adjacent Ailly- sur- Noye and 6 km west of Moreuil.
History
Rovrel was greatly destroyed during the First World War. The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
