Rouy-le-Grand
Rouy -le- Grand is a commune of 109 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. The municipality is part of the Canton of Nesle and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays Neslois.
Geography
The community is located at the confluence of the Canal du Nord, which separates it from Rouy -le- Petit, in the Canal de la Somme, which follows the course of the Somme here.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
