Roxann Dawson

Roxann Dawson ( Roxann Biggs - Dawson also; born September 11, 1958 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress and director.

Biography

Dawson was born Roxann Caballero. First married the American actor Casey Biggs ( see, inter alia, in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as Legate Damar ), which is why it was performed from 1988 to 1994 as Roxann Biggs in the credits. She later married then the casting director Eric Dawson, with whom she has two daughters.

Dawson studied at the University of California, Berkeley Theatre Studies. There followed many roles at theaters in New York City.

Dawson was mainly due to the series Star Trek: Voyager known (1995-2001), where she played Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres. Since the end of the series Dawson works primarily as a director, including for Charmed - Magical Witches, Crossing Jordan, OC California, Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten, and Star Trek: Enterprise.

It also supports the Half the Sky Foundation, a foundation to help orphans in China. Inter alia auctioned it her mask of B'Elanna Torres and donated the proceeds.
