Roxbert Martin

Roxbert Martin ( born November 5, 1969 in Saint Ann Parish ) is a former Jamaican athlete, who specializes in the 400 -meter run.

He scored his best results with the Jamaican 4 x 400 meters relay. With it he won at the Pan American Games in 1995 in Mar del Plata and won the silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. He celebrated his biggest success with the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Together with Michael McDonald, Greg Haughton and Davian Clarke he won in a time of 2:59,42 min the bronze medal behind the teams in the United States and Great Britain.

In addition, he was twice Jamaican national champion in the 400 -meter run (1997-1998). About the same distance he reached at the World Athletics Championships 1997 in Athens, the semi-final round and finished at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Maebashi in 1999 to fifth place.

Roxbert Martin is 1,78 m tall and weighed 66 kg to his playing days.
