Roy Díaz González

Roy Díaz González ( born 1953 ) is a former Mexican badminton player. He is the greatest talent, what the Mexican badminton sport has so far produced.

Career

Roy Díaz González won at the age of 14 years his first Mexican title. Shortly thereafter, he won international at the Belgium International in the men's doubles with Lee Kin fact from Singapore. At age 16, he was already successful in the Swiss Open, where he won both the individual as well as the double with Hermann Fröhlich. In 1974, he won there again single and mixed titles. In 1977 he became Master Pan. The Badminton World Championship 1985, he was also placed in the top 32.
