Roy Fielding

Roy Thomas Fielding (born 1965 in Laguna Beach ) is one of the principal authors of the HTTP specification.

Fielding was born in Laguna Beach, California, USA. In 2000, he received his doctoral degree from the University of California, Irvine for his dissertation Architectural Styles and the Design of Network -based Software Architectures, which the Representational State Transfer describes as a key architecture for the World Wide Web and got great recognition.
