Roy Jacobsen
Roy Jacobsen ( born December 26, 1954 in Oslo) is a Norwegian writer.
Jacobsen made his debut in 1982 with the short story collection Fangeliv. He has published novels, short stories and children's books. In Norway, Jacobsen is considered to be the author and owner. Critics praise his assets, historical event with the fate of ordinary people supported psychologically and legible to combine.
Jacobsen's work has been, Romanian and Albanian translated into Danish, German, Swedish, English, Polish, Finnish, Icelandic, Dutch.
In 2009 he was involved in the screenplay for the film Valhalla Rising.
