Roy Mitchell (athlete)

Roy Mitchell ( Roy Robert Mitchell, born January 1, 1955) is a former British long jumper Jamaican origin.

At the Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976, he left in qualifying.

In 1978 he won for England starting at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton. At the European Athletics Championships in Prague, he was seventh.

1976 and 1978 he was English Champion outdoors in 1976 in the hall. In 1980 he became British Champion.
