Roy Z

Roy Z (actually: Roy Ramirez ) ( born February 21, 1968 in Los Angeles ) is an American guitarist, bassist, composer and producer who works in the heavy metal genre. The last name Ramirez he turned in the late 1980s into Zerimar, resulting finally Z was short.

Roy Z is a regular at his band Tribe of Gypsies. But he is known for his work with Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, he on his solo albums Balls To Picasso, Accident Of Birth, The Chemical Wedding, Scream For Me Brazil and A Tyranny Of Souls together with the respective bassist and drummer of his band Tribe of Gypsies supported. Mostly he produced the albums themselves also

He was also a producer and songwriter of Judas -Priest singer Rob Halford and since Halford III: Winter Songs also co- guitarist in Halford. Roy has since produced every Halford Resurrection album. When Rob Halford is reunited with Judas Priest, he could also produce The Angel Of Retribution album from Priest.

Another important album, which he produced, Helloween The Dark Ride is. These came after 2000, half a dozen albums with vocalist Rob Rock and Driver, as well as work with former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, the Swedish metallers Wolf and thrashers Sepultura brazilianischen.
