The Royal Academy of Engineering is a British learned society dealing with engineering.
Foundation and History
At its inception in 1976, the Academy was initially named as Fellowship of Engineering. In 1983, the community was greeted with a " Royal Charter " and named in 1992 to its present name in order.

The current president of the Academy is Lord John Browne.
