Royal Aero Club

The Royal Aero Club (short: RAEC ) is the national body for sport aviation and its regulation in the United Kingdom.

The Royal Aero Club was first founded in 1901 as the Aero Club and looked after the interests of the balloonist. With advent of the airplane is also dealt with. In 1909 the club was allowed to perform the addition of " Royal" (Royal ). From 1910 to him the task of issuing and management of pilots' licenses has been transferred.
