Rozdilna

Rosdilna (Ukrainian Роздільна, Russian Раздельная / Rasdelnaja, Romanian Razdelnaia ) is a city in southern Ukraine, about 66 kilometers north- west of Odessa. It is the center of the same name Rajons Rosdilna and is close to the border with Moldova at a railway junction.

The town was founded in 1863 as a settlement around a railway station, in the course of construction of the railway line to Odessa ( railway Krasne -Odessa ) with a branch to Bessarabia ( railway Rosdilna - Iaşi, Rosdilna means " branch " ) here was built. 1957 she was awarded the city status.
