Rozhysche

Roschyschtsche (Ukrainian Рожище; Roschischtsche Russian, Polish Rozyszcze ) is a small Ukrainian town with just over 13,000 residents. It lies on the River Styx in the Volyn oblast, southeast of the city of Kovel and a few kilometers from the district capital of Lutsk.

The town was first mentioned in writing in 1377, over the centuries, a multi-ethnic embossed place the Volhynia had their share of it developed. Between 1920 and 1939 belonged to Poland Roschyschtsche, 1945 it was the Soviet Union slammed and has since been a part of the Ukrainian SSR and since 1991 the Ukraine. 1989 she was awarded the status of a city.
