Rpety

Rpety ( German Erpet ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers southeast of Hořovice and belongs to Okres Beroun.

Geography

The creek through which the Podlužský village is located north of the north-eastern edge of the Brdywaldes military training area Brd. To the southeast of Ostry (538 m) behind which the Litavka emerges from the Brd in a deep valley rises.

Neighboring towns are Tihava and Netolice in the north, and Lochovice Obora in the northeast, Lhotka in the east, in the southeast Rejkovice, Felbabka in the south, Podluhy the southwest, Dražovka in the west and Hořovice in the northwest.

History

Was first mentioned Rpety in the course of the foundation of the monastery Kladruby by Vladislav I. Since the founding document of the monastery has proved of 1115 as a belated false document from the end of the 12th century, dated the first written mention of the village from the year 1186th

Following a successful in the 14th century division of the village a share to 1436 to Pribram and the other belonged to Komarov. The former Příbram share came to power in 1520 Jince and in the 17th century to the reign Hořovice. Furthermore, even included five farms since the late 16th century to the dominions Tocnik or the Monastery of St. Benigna at Zaječov.

In 1707, clothed with Rozina Wischtejnová a woman's judgeship in place. 18th and 19th centuries was the mining of iron ore on Ostry. The shafts reached a depth of about 100 m and the adit were driven about 700 meters into the mountain. Although many of the residents worked for the mines, Rpety was no mountain settlement but kept their agricultural character. After the replacement of patrimonial Rpety was with the district Felbabka 1850 an independent village in the Prague district.

1910, Rpety 492 inhabitants in 1921 and lived in the 80 houses of the village exactly the same number of people. The former district Felbabka gained independence in 1954.
