RSA -129 is a large semi- prime number theory from the field of mathematics. The 129 decimal digits long number is part of the RSA Factoring Challenge and was factored on 2 April 1994 with the quadratic sieve.

The factorization of RSA -129 is:

RSA -129 = 11438162575788886766923577997614661201021829672124236256256184293            5706935245733897830597123563958705058989075147599290026879543541 RSA -129 = 3490529510847650949147849619903898133417764638493387843990820577          * 32769132993266709549961988190834461413177642967992942539798288533 The calculations were performed in parallel under the direction of Derek Atkins, Michael Graff, Arjen Lenstra and Paul Leyland of 600 volunteers. These collected for 8 months so-called congruences that were transmitted by e -mail (or ftp) to the central computer. At 45 hours, the two dividers were determined on a supercomputer from the 4.3 GB of data.
