Røssvatnet (or Røssvatn or Sami: Reevhtse ) is the name of Norway's second largest lake. It is located in the municipalities Hattfjelldalen and Hemnes in Nordland Fylke.

Since 1957, the amount of water is regulated. The Øvre Røssåga Kraftverk takes advantage of the difference in height between Røssvatnet and Stormyrbassenget to generate electricity. Thus, the Røssvatnet belongs to the catchment area of ​​the Røssåga. From higher Bleikvatnet water is supplied to the Røssvatnet.
