RTCG

Radio Crne Gore Televizija ( RTCG; German: Montenegrin Broadcasting ) is the public broadcasting company of Montenegro, headquartered in Podgorica. The company consists of the parts Radio Crne Gore / RCG (radio ) and Televizija Crne Gore / TVCG ( television). RTCG - General is Rade Vojvodic. The annual budget amounts to approximately 9 million euros ( 1.6 million advertising / 7.4 million state funding ).

Since 2006 RTCG is a member of the European Broadcasting Union ( EBU). This RTCG is responsible for the Montenegrin contributions to the Euro Vision Song Contest. When Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro had more inventory, RTCG was ( or radio Televizija Titograd ) three times (1983, 1984, 2005) responsible for the posts.

Radio (RCG )

Radio Crne Gore or RCG ( kyr.: Радио Црне Горе ) is the public radio Montenegro. It produces the following radio stations:

  • CG Radio 1
  • CG Radio 2

He sends since 1944 as Radio Titograd ( Titograd is the former name of Podgorica ). 1963 were merged to form Radio - Televizija Titograd Radio Titograd and Televizija Titograd ( television). 1990 changed its name to Radio Titograd Radio Crne Gore.

Television ( TVCG )

Televizija Crne Gore or TVCG ( kyr.: Телевизија Црне Гope ) is the public television of Montenegro. It is divided into three transmitters

  • TV CG 1 sends especially messages,
  • TV CG 2 sends sports and entertainment and
  • CG TV satellite sends selected programs of the two national television via satellite.

The first broadcasts were made in 1964, after it was produced from 1963. The transmit operation ran until 1990 Televizija Titograd, from then on under the present name.
