RTS Un

RTS Un ( until February 29, 2012 TSR 1 ) is the first TV channel of the French-speaking Switzerland Broadcasting ( Radio Télévision Suisse).

History

The station took the name TSR on November 1, 1954 began broadcasting on. This name kept it until the start of TSR 2, the second public television channel of the French-speaking Switzerland on 1 November 1997. On January 1, 2011, the two institutions Télévision Suisse Romande and Radio Suisse Romande the new institution Radio Télévision Suisse were merged. However, the programs maintained until 29 February 2012 its old name. On this date, TSR 1 was renamed RTS Un.

Interactive TV

As of March 5, 2013, SRG SSR starts the test operation of HbbTV in Switzerland on the TV stations RTSun HD and HD RTSdeux under the name RTS . The solution was developed by the SwissTXT. The offer contains messages as they are known from Teletext forth also a video on demand component.
