RTV BN

Radio Televizija Bijeljina (RTV BN) is a radio and television station based in Bijeljina, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The station was founded in 1998 and is now one of the most popular and well-known stations in Republika Srpska and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

RTV BN offers a 24 -hour channel with news broadcasts, political and entertainment programs in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian. The station has over 120 employees with news correspondent in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgrade, London, Vienna and other cities.

In January 2010, the broadcast of the radio station was interrupted for two hours because police had occupied the main building in Bijeljina. The broadcaster was accused of tax evasion, which is why the building was searched by officers. According to RTV BN this political reasons would have had, as the TV station was critical of against the prime minister of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik and his government.
