Ruahine Range

The Ruahine Range is one of several mountain ranges in the North Island of New Zealand, running parallel to the east coast of the island between East Cape and Wellington.

This ridge is in the southern part of the island is most pronounced where it consists of the Rimutaka Range, Tararua Range and Ruahine Ranges.

The Ruahine Range is approximately 110 km from near the Hawke 's Bay to the vicinity of Woodville. It is separated Range in the south through the Manawatu Gorge on the northern end of the Tararua.
