Rubén Lobato

Rubén Lobato Elvira ( born September 1, 1978 in San Sebastián de los Reyes, suburb of Madrid ) is a Spanish cyclist.

He drives for the team Saunier Duval- Prodir since 2004. His professional debut was in 2002 Acqua e Sapone. In 2003 he moved to Domina Vacanze.

In 2006, he first participated in the Tour de France.

On 17 June 2009, the UCI announced that Rubén Lobato and four other drivers due to abnormalities in their blood profiles doping procedures were initiated. The irregularities were observed due to the blood passport was introduced in 2008.
