Ruda-Bugaj

Ruda - Bugaj is a village in the municipality Aleksandrów Łódzki of the district Zgierz in the Polish region of Łódź.

The result is Ruda - Bugaj probably in the second half of the 14th century as a colony Ruda. The village was first mentioned in 1444. At the end of the 18th century, after 1782, mainly Protestant colonists from Germany came to Ruda - Bugaj and in the neighboring community Brużyca Wielka called Hauländer. Hauländer usually came from the eastern areas of Germany, for example, Silesia. The settlers were given a nine-year freedom from taxes, which indicates a heavy soil and a stronger sprawl - because seven years had the rule. Also on ungerodetes country indicated the license to be allowed to burn the wood grubbed. Under the leadership of the pastor Friedrich Georg Tuve a meetinghouse was built in 1799.
