Geography
Geographical location
Rudelzhausen located in the Danube River Isar Hill Country in the catchment area of Aben.
Community structure
Districts are mountain, Enzelhausen, Count Village, Green Mountain, Hebrontshausen, Kirchdorf, Rudelzhausen and Tegernbach. Development priorities of the municipality form Rudelzhausen and Tegernbach. The two historical places Kirchdorf and Rudelzhausen are almost grown together today.

History
Rudelzhausen 778 was first mentioned in documents as Hrodolfeshusir. The place belonged to Rentamt Landshut and Moosburg district court of the Electorate of Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818 the municipality Enzelhausen, which included the district Rudelzhausen.
Incorporations
On 1 July 1972, the formerly independent communities Grünberg and parts of the mountain community were incorporated into the community Enzelhausen. Enzelhausen, Tegernbach and parts of the disbanded community Graf village were finally merged on 1 May 1978 on the new community Rudelzhausen.
Religions
Catholic parishes are in Kirchdorf and Tegernbach. Rudelzhausen belongs to the competence of the Evangelical Lutheran Church congregation Main Castle.
Population Development
On the territory of the commune were 1970 2.315 1987 2.390 and then counted 3,015 inhabitants in 2000.
Policy
Mayor Konrad Schickaneder ( CSU / CDU). He was the successor of Joseph Voichtleitner ( CSU / CDU) in 2002.
The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of 1,307 K € in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted 224 T €.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the field of agriculture and forestry eleven, in the manufacturing sector and 146 in the area of trade and transport five social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the workplace 116 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 1,076. In manufacturing, there were three farms, in construction twelve farms. In addition, in 1999, there were 130 farms with an agricultural area of 2,283 ha, of which 2,015 hectares of arable land and 260 ha of permanent grassland.
Traffic
