Rudi van Dantzig

Rudi van Dantzig (* August 4, 1933 in Amsterdam, † 19 January 2012) was a Dutch dancer, choreographer and writer.

Dantzig, who was greatly inspired by the work Martha Graham, debuted in 1952 at the " Nederlands Ballet ", which later became the " National Ballet " was. Starting from 1965 he has been co-director, from 1971 to 1991 then chief of the troops.

Dantzig is the author of several books, including an autobiography in 1986, entitled Voor een Lost Soldaat bears ( For A Lost Soldier ), 1992, she was filmed.
