Rudi Vata

Rudi Vata ( born February 13, 1970 in Shkodër ) is a former Albanian football player.

In Germany Vata became known when he was promoted in 2000 with Energie Cottbus in the Bundesliga 1. Previously, he was, inter alia, already intervened in Celtic Glasgow.

In the season 2000/ 01 he was with 30 inserts a fixture in the energy - defense. After failing almost the entire first half of the season 2001 /02 hurt, he moved to the winter break in the second league to LR Ahlen.

In 2002 he moved from Ahlen back to his home to SK Tirana, then he played in Tokyo in the second Japanese league. Trainer was there Pierre Littbarski. After one season in Japan, he trailed off his career.

For the Albanian national Vata played 59 matches in which he scored five goals. At times he was Albanian most-capped player, now he is in this ranking behind Strakosha, Tare and Rraklli and together with Alban Bushi on the 4th Place.

After End of career he has acquired both a trainer and a consultant license. He currently works as a player consultant.
