Rudka (Brno-Country District)

Rudka ( German Rutkau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 21 kilometers west of the center of Brno and belongs to Okres Brno- venkov.

Geography

Rudka located in the highlands Bobravská the headwaters of the Bobrava, the northwest of the village rises in the forest. To the north rises the Prachová (530 m). In the north of the highway D1 / E 55 / E 65 passes, the next exit 168 Devět Křížů is Lesní Hluboké. Southeast is located in the Valley of the Bobrava the extinct settlement Chroustov.

Neighboring towns are Šmelcovna in the northeast, Domašov in the east, in the southeast Ricky, Litostrov in the south, Zbraslav in the southwest, and Příčnice Stanoviště in the west and Zalesna Zhoř, Zhořský Dvůr and Lesní Hluboké in the northwest.

History

Rutka was first documented in 1330. The place was one of the villages that gave the Dowager Queen Elisabeth Richza the donated by her Aula Sanctae Mariae Cistercian monastery in Old Brno. In German writings, the village was initially called Ruden. The place name derives from an ore deposit. At the end of the 15th century originated in Rudka as monastic Lehn a Freihofstraße. As the owner of the farm and the festivals Rudka is called 1497 Vladike Jaroš of Rudka. The festivals became extinct probably during the Thirty Years' War. In Rudka mining was carried on iron ore and in the village worked several iron works. After the dissolution of the Cistercian nunnery Old Brno Rudka fell in 1783 to the religious fund. 1840, the former monastic property was sold to Franz Ritter von Heintl. Three years later, earned him Heinrich Eduard Prince Schoenburg - Hartenstein.

After the abolition of patrimonial Rudka formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Brno. In the same year a fire destroyed seven peasant farms. 1852 burned down again eleven houses. A 58 Ar great fire water pond was a result, at the Bobrava created. In 1890 the county road from Domašov was created by Rudka, and extended the following year to Litostrov. In 1902, 482 people lived in the village. The community forest was divided in 1912 and sold to the farmers altansässigen. 1921 came the congregation to Okres Brno- venkov and 1948 she was assigned to the Okres Rosice. After the abolition of Okres Rosice Rudka came in 1961 Okres Brno- venkov back. 1977 Rudka was connected with Litostrov, Ricky and Javůrek to Domašov. In the same year the birthplace of Joseph Juran was declared a cultural monument. In 1990, the municipality Rudka arose again. In 2002, filming was performed heart for the series černí baroni by Juraj in the tavern. Since 2005 Rudka leads a crest and a banner.
