Rudolf, 6th Prince Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau

Rudolf Fürst Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau ( born March 30, 1802 in Prague, † January 27, 1836 in Linz) was a Bohemian nobleman.

Biography

Eldest son of Prince Ferdinand Kinsky from his marriage to Maria Karolina Baroness von Kerpen. He married on 12 May 1825 Prague Countess Wilhelmine Elisabeth von Colloredo- Mansfeld (* July 20, 1804; † December 3, 1871 ).

He was the 6th Duke in direct sequence and father of Ferdinand Bonaventura Prince Kinsky. Among other things, he was the owner of the castle Chotzener 1824-1836. He had made in the Bohemian Switzerland around Dittersbach the rock world accessible. Therefore, the Rudolf Stein was named after him. The family resided among others in the Kinsky Palace in the Old Town Square in Prague.

From 1834 until his death on 27 January 1836 he was President of the Government of the Crown Land Austria above the Enns.
