Rudolf IV, Margrave of Baden-Pforzheim

Rudolf IV (* unknown, † June 25, 1348 ) was from 1291 until his death, Margrave of Baden.

He was the son of Hermann VII of Baden (1266-1291) and Agnes of Truhendingen ( † after 1309).

Rudolf IV married before 28 February 1318 in his first marriage, Liutgard of Bolanden († 1324/25 ), sister of Anne of Cistercian Bolanden; second wife, before February 18, 1326, Maria von Oettingen († June 10, 1369 ). From the second marriage the following children were born:

  • Friedrich III. of Baden ( * 1327, † September 2, 1353 )
  • Rudolf V. von Baden (* unknown, † 1361, married on August 26, 1347 Adelheid von Baden)

Maria von Oettingen was a widow Cistercian monastery in the light Thal and they probably got there today located in the Baden State Library of Karlsruhe Psalter Codex Lichtenthal 37, originally from Anna Bolanden in the Cherry Grove Monastery ( Worms) belonged. Anne of Bolanden was the sister of the first wife of Margrave Rudolph IV
