Rudolf Rauer

Rudi Rauer ( born January 15, 1950 in Unna ) is a former German national handball players. The goalkeeper graduated from 1974 to 1980 a total of 67 matches in which he scored 1 goal.

Rudi Rauer 's police chief inspector and performs its duties as a district officer in Kamen, Kreis Unna (North Rhine -Westphalia).

Rudi Rauer was for many years in the national team, the second goalkeeper behind Manfred Hofmann.

Career

The handball matches he learned at VfL Kamen, from there he moved to TV Emsdetten, in the Handball Bundesliga he played among others at VfL Gummersbach and TuS at Wellinghofen.

Rudi Rauer was a member of the banns the 1978 world champion, in the final but was not used.

He was a member of the team that placed 4th at the Olympic Games in Montreal.

He was second goalkeeper of the team that scored on 6 March 1976 in Karl- Marx-Stadt, the qualification for the Olympic Games in 1976 against East Germany.
