Rudolf Signer

Rudolf Signer ( born March 17, 1903 in Herisau, † 1 December 1990 Gümligen ) was a Swiss chemist.

Rudolf Signer taught from 1935 to 1972 as a professor at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of Bern. Surveyed in 1938 and he described the DNA. Signer authored over 250 scientific publications and has been awarded the Lavoisier Medal.
