Rudolf Tischner

Rudolf Tischner ( born April 3, 1879 in Hohenmolsen, † April 24, 1961 in Garstedt ) was a German ophthalmologist, occultist and writer.

After studying medicine Tischner practiced as an ophthalmologist in Munich. Noteworthy was his almost complete deafness after TB disease. Although he himself was not a homeopath, he wrote widely acclaimed article about, including the classic The Evolution of the homeopathy. Committed to evidence-based medicine, he argued for a combination of this with homeopathy.

Tischner worked intensively with parapsychological phenomena, telekinesis, telepathy and the occult. He led in these directions by numerous experiments and wrote part of extensive works about it.
