Rudston is a village in the Yorkshire Wolds, in the UK. The name Rudston consists of the Old English words " rood " on the cross, and " stan" stone.

Prehistoric monuments

The menhir of Rudston is the largest in the UK. It is 10 kilometers west of Bridlington in the middle of the homonymous village, near the church. The menhir is 7.7 m high, 1.8 m wide and 76 cm thick.
