Ruedi Lustenberger

Ruedi Lustenberger ( born April 2, 1950 in Romoos; native entitled ibid. ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP).

Life

Lust Berger, a professional carpenter, made as a member of the Grand Council of Lucerne, where he from 1991 to 1999 belonged to him and presided in 1999, first experience in a legislative authority. In the 1999 elections he was elected to the National Council. Lust Berger is President of the Control Committee ( GPK -NR) and a member of the administrative delegation and supervision Neat - delegation. 2011/2012 he was second vice president of the National Council. Since the winter session 2012/2013 he is first vice president, was elected with 161 votes out of 177 valid. On November 25, 2013 Lust Berger was elected with 175 out of 183 valid votes to the National President.

In addition to his professional activities as a self-employed carpenter and forming his parliamentary roles, he presided from 2001 to 2005, the CVP- cantonal party Lucerne. Since 2005 he has been President of the Central Association of Swiss master carpenter and furniture manufacturer ( VSSM ) and since 2008 member of the board of the Swiss Trade Association ( SGV ).

Ruedi Lustenberger lives in the community Romoos, is married and has five adult children.
