The Ferruginous thicket of birds ( Atrichornis rufescens ), also called Little thicket panties, is a bird of the order Passeriformes. He is based in Australia and one of the rarest birds on earth.

Appearance

The 16 to 21 inches wide and 30 -gram bird has a brown back, tail feathers, the belly is light brown front, rear orange. The white colored throat. Way of life

These birds are found only in a very small area in the north-east of New South Wales and southeast Queensland. There they inhabit the temperate rain and eucalyptus forests in the vicinity of water.

Reproduction

Endangering

The main reason for the rarity of these birds, the loss is one of habitat through the construction of roads and human settlements and natural fire.
