Ruggero Raimondi

Ruggero Raimondi ( born October 3, 1941 in Bologna, Emilia -Romagna ) is an Italian opera singer (bass - baritone) and actor.

Life

Ruggero Raimondi studied in Milan and Rome and made his debut in 1964 in Spoleto as Colline in La Bohème. 1965 to 1968 he performed in Venice at Teatro La Fenice. In 1968 he made ​​his debut as Timur in Turandot at La Scala, in 1969 as Mozart's Don Giovanni at Glyndebourne and 1970 as Silva in Ernani at the Metropolitan Opera.
