Ruhal Ahmed

Ruhal Ahmed ( born March 11, 1981 in Birmingham) is a spokesperson for Amnesty International.

The Briton was with his friends Shafiq Rasul and Asif Iqbal - together called " tripton Three" - was arrested by militias in Afghanistan and sold to the United States. From early 2002 until March 2004 he sat without trial or charge as a prisoner # 110 in Guantanamo Bay. His experience has been filmed in the movie The Road to Guantanamo director Michael Winterbottom.

After his release, he spoke publicly about torture during his captivity. With his two friends and Jamal Al- Harith Udeen he complains since October 2004 due to the injury suffered torture and unlawful arrest against former U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld before different courts in the United States.
