The Rühner See, also Rühner Big Lake, located in the pelvis between Bützower Biitzow and Rühn in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. He is a little indented shallow lake with a water surface of about 99 hectares and a depth of about six meters. It is about 1600 meters long and 930 meters wide. In the lake there is a small island Rethberg.

The inflow of the lake comes from the Trechower lake, the outflow is via the Seebach in the Warnow. The almost entirely of a tube and piston reed -fringed Rühner Lake is a eutrophic species-rich lakes and reservoirs. Northeast of the lake is the smaller Triensee. Not far from the south shore is located parallel to the shore of Long Lake.

On the lake is a bathing establishment. The lake is surrounded by fields and meadows.
