Rumcherod

Rumtscherod is the abbreviation for "Central Executive Committee of Soviets of Romanian Front, the Black Sea Fleet and the Odessa region ", ie the former southwestern provinces of Ukraine and Bessarabia. It is an acronym of the full Russian name Zentralny ispolnitelny komitet Sovetov Rumynskowo fronta, Tschernomorskowo flota i Odesskoi oblasti (Russian Центральный исполнительный комитет Советов Румынского фронта, Черноморского флота и Одесской области ).

In his capacity as representative of the Central Committee (CC ) of the Social Democratic Workers' Party of Russia ( RSDLP ) and the Council of People's Commissars participated W. Wolodarski in the work of the Congress. From January to March 1918 led the Rumtscherod the fight against Romanian, then against the Austro - German interventionists. Together with the Supreme Autonomous College of the Council of People's Commissars diplomatic negotiations with the Romanian Government were conducted. This took place after talks from 5 to 9 March 1918, a contract on the withdrawal of Romanian forces from Bessarabia within two months of their completion ( the contract was not complied with by Romania, in April disarmed Romanian troops unexpectedly Russian and annexed Bessarabia ).

In March 1918, the Rumtscherod was evacuated in the face of the Austro- German intervention to Nikolayev, then to Rostov- on-Don and in April 1918 after Jeisk. In May 1918, ceased its activity.
