Rumohr
Rumohr is a municipality in Kiel, Rendsburg -Eckernförde district in Schleswig -Holstein. Bornhorst, Red Rooster, Rumohrholz and Rumohrhütten lie in the municipality.
Geography and transport
Rumohr is located a few kilometers southwest of Kiel at the Federal Highway 215 from Kiel to Neumünster.
History
First recorded in 1245th In the year confirmed Gottschalk, at the time of Holstein Bode Over a transmission of several farms by the brothers of Ehndorf to the monastery Neumünster. One of the witnesses of the notarization of this process was a Scacco de Rummore ( in German: Schack von Rumohr ). The place name is derived from the rough moorland.

Personalities
Local historian and photographer Theodor Möller (1873-1953) grew up in Rumohrholz. In April 2013, the congregation dedicated the occasion of his 140th birthday, a memorial stone.
