Run for Cover is an album by the Northern Irish hard rock and blues guitarist Gary Moore. It was released in September 1985 10 Records / Virgin. It is often referred to as Moore's breakthrough.
History
The album already acted in part on Irish subjects as well as subsequent publications. During the recordings worked with, among others, Phil Lynott. Out in the Fields, one of the greatest successes Moore, the last recording Lynotts before his death in 1986. Ex - Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes is participated in Reach for the Sky and All Messed Up with. The ballad Empty Rooms is a remake of the already famous song of Moore.
Criticism
The website Allmusic praised the " fantastic " vocal performances by Hughes and Lynott. They rated the album with four out of five stars.
